Josenhans Founders Memorial Scholarship

A scholarship was established in 2007 by friends of the German Heritage Language School and in the name of Gerta Josenhans. She was the founder of the German Heritage Language School Association of Nova Scotia in 1987. In 2021 we renamed the scholarship in honor of Gerda Josenhans´daughter Christine Höhne to Josenhans Founders Memorial Scholarship. The 200 $ scholarship will be awarded as an encouragement in April at the closing ceremonies to a child who has continued with German Studies at the GHLS for at least 3 years.
