Dear Parents, Friends, Students and Teachers:

Ess and Kochfest : Saturday, April 22
This is a new social event that we are trying out this year for our adult students, GHLS board and teachers. It will involve preparing and eating some traditional German food like Rouladen, Kartoffelpuree, Salat, Suppe und Nachtisch.....all while communicating in German. This will take place at the Christ Church Hall in Dartmouth with food preparation starting at 2pm with the meal served around 6:30. More details to follow in class.

Canada 150 & 30th Anniversary Video
The GHLS has received some money from the German Government ZfA to make a short video about the school,it’s history and some of it’s students. A videographer will be at the school April 13 to take some action shots and interviews. Later in September we hope to have a reception (possibly at Pier 21) to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the school and to show the video. We will keep you posted for moreinformation on this. Also if anyone has suggestions for the video please feel free to share them with us. All students and parents must sign a waiver (talent release) in order to be filmed.
